to May 16th, 2016, Steven Crumley, the Quality & Technology Support Manager
from CAT Dyersburg Facility in US, came to Xi’an FC for the assembly technology
support for 8 days.
During his support
in Xi’an FC, Steven helped FC audit the assembly process of one set of CX28
transmission, one set of CX31 transmission, as well as one set of CX28 torque
converter. Meanwhile, he had the test process audit of FC test board and discussed
with FC technicians the related test issues. By this support, FC technicians
had further understanding of the automatic transmission assembly technology and
process, which gave new source of whole quality improvement for FC automatic
transmission.
